A lil update and a few “confessions”
From an
#AmbitiousBlackFeminist:

  • I picked up the new Solange album (and some other special treats).
  • I got to do Venus Sings Radio / Voices of Women two Saturdays in a row this month (including yesterday)
  • I did Zumba for the first time and kind of liked it, but have also increased the amount of jogging, yoga, and strength exercises I do to almost daily.
  • I can’t (won’t?) stop laughing, writing, singing and loving. BUT that doesn’t mean that shit is always easy. So I also can’t (won’t) stop being grateful for the energy/ability to do these things.

Just wanted to share PLUS say thanks to those who’ve helped, supported, witnessed and encouraged.
