Hi friends, sales are officially closed for the two #3amblackpoetry mini-collections, “I’ve Come to Find It Lovely” and “Las Canciones de la Sirena/Siren Song.” But the adventures continue, like they did today when I shared my poem “Braiding the Isolation” – and an a cappella rendition of Erykah Badu’s Pick Your Afro Daddy – as a guest/pop-up performer during my cousin’s keynote address, which was presented to a group of current students attending his alma mater, Wheeler School in Providence. Thanks for inviting me to help shape the minds (curls and hairlines) of a group of young people @miguelitoviejito!

Stay tuned for more “art, essays and poems,” and to hear about the #wear3amblack online boutique – coming soon. Sunshine and laughter. – Reza Rites
