Friends, I’m super excited and giddy to get the word out about my poetry performance comin up on Tue. November. I have some stuff in the vault that might be ready for sunshine (or moonlight), and I’ve got some recently released poetry collections, so I may share some of those pieces as well. Spoken Word and Poetry Meet featuring Reza “Rites” Clifton, Tuesday, Nov 1 · 7:30–9:30 PM, hosted by Jaybird Walker at R1 Indoor Karting, 100 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI.

The night will start with an open mic, followed by me sharing poetry and storytelling from 3 AM IS THE NEW BLACK (@3amblack). I can’t wait!

It’s fun to find new and different ways to connect to your community. Setting up at markets, placemaking and performing, and (re)launching the 3 AM IS THE NEW BLACK online store(s) have all emerged as great ways to share (bits and pieces of) “art, essays and poems” and to explore the “intersection of high art, street art, and critical social discourse.”

We will be set up next month at an @anti_robotclub market in Providence (check them out), or you can browse through canvases, greeting cards, tote bags, hoodies and digital poetry collections for children and adults at shop.3amblack.com.
